Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dino Gazza started the match with the kick off. U21 Italy's Cristoforo Grandis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bernardo Cameli in the 5 minute of the game. Ciro Buccella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Dino Roberto made a huge save. U21 Italy were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Villadeatese FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armin Trabucco took the corner. U21 Italy's Armin Trabucco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dino Roberto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Villadeatese FC booed when U21 Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Testa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Villadeatese FC's Alberto Maranhense broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 16th minute, U21 Italy's Ciro Buccella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dino Roberto. Dino Roberto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Villadeatese FC's Dino Roberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Villadeatese FC from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, U21 Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Gazza came free, but Fabio Santilli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes U21 Italy got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Testa. In the 27th minute Alberto Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Santilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Donato Berardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Ciro Buccella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Villadeatese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Giordani came free, but Dino Roberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dino Roberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Giordani, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Dino Roberto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Buccella's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Manzi during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of U21 Italy booed when Villadeatese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Manzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Roberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Buccella went, in the 49th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Buccella made a kick off. Arrigo Clementi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villadeatese FC's goalkeeper Dino Roberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 59 minutes, Ciro Buccella managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Buccella was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The U21 Italy fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when U21 Italy's Ciro Buccella looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dino Gazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Manzi hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The supporters of U21 Italy booed when Villadeatese FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Manzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Bernardo Cameli with Arrigo Clementi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ciro Buccella took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Roberto. Dino Roberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. U21 Italy's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
