Zdzislaw Kornatowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romed Brehme in the 6th minute of play. The throw-in from Freddi Kremm in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Straszków SSA's Boleslaw Cholewa. Torger Gödicke came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Straszków SSA's Waclaw Rakowski. But to his dismay, Waclaw Rakowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Heiko Schreiner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Kornatowski made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Straszków SSA's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Kornatowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heiko Schreiner. Igor Charlos succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The supporters of Vollme FC booed when Straszków SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Chludzinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torger Gödicke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waclaw Rakowski's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The Straszków SSA fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Straszków SSA's Waclaw Rakowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Boruc Chludzinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Waclaw Rakowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torger Gödicke. Vollme FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waclaw Rakowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Waclaw Rakowski sped through Vollme FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torger Gödicke. In the 42nd match minute, Straszków SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartosz Koprowski to maneuver through the defense. Heiko Schreiner's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zdzislaw Kornatowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 47th minute Igor Charlos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torger Gödicke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waclaw Rakowski was the one to do the kick off. Torger Gödicke made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Waclaw Rakowski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Vollme FC's Bruno Hafner got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 62nd play minutes Waclaw Rakowski shot 1-6, a short shot which went by Torger Gödicke and just under the crossbar into goal. 69 minutes in the game, Igor Charlos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Torger Gödicke having to interfere. Waclaw Rakowskis short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Torger Gödicke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Charlos in the 75th minute of play forced Vollme FC's goalkeeper Torger Gödicke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waclaw Rakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Vollme FC's goalkeeper Torger Gödicke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waclaw Rakowski. Zdzislaw Kornatowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiko Schreiner, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Torger Gödicke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Charlos's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Nils Zypries kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romed Brehme in the 92nd minute of play forced Straszków SSA's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Kornatowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Straszków SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Schreiner came free, but Zdzislaw Kornatowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Leif-Eric Schebesta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
