When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Vermudo Pantoja sped through Vollme FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torger Gödicke. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Zuberoa Alabern managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Arteixo's supporters rose to their feet, but Zuberoa Alabern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torger Gödicke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vermudo Pantoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romed Brehme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Ziya Onur Akıncıbey successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Nils Zypries fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vollme FC's protests and gave Nils Zypries a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Vollme FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Zypries to maneuver through the defense. Club Atletico Arteixo's Ziya Onur Akıncıbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Arteixo from getting a goal against them. After 28 played minutes Vollme FC got a freekick which was hit by Hank Maurer. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hank Maurer during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Hank Maurer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vollme FC's Nils Zypries managed to work through Club Atletico Arteixo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Nils Zypries dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Mats Buck hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliks Mazić in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torger Gödicke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 48 minutes into the match, Feliks Mazić notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Vollme FC's Torger Gödicke. Torger Gödicke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Vermudo Pantoja tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Torger Gödicke saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Torger Gödicke was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Feliks Mazić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Feliks Mazić really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Zypries in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Feliks Mazić fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Torger Gödicke, passed just outside the right post. 60 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Club Atletico Arteixo's Vermudo Pantoja fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After 64 minutes, Nicasio Echavarri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Arteixo and the Vollme FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The attack was good, but when Vermudo Pantoja in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Club Atletico Arteixo's Teofilo Maroto was substituted for Bertol Martínez. 97 minutes into the game, Romo Perpiñán lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Torger Gödicke. The Vollme FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atletico Arteixo's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atletico Arteixo.
