In the 11th minute Eulalio Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Atarratze in the 14th minute of play. Eulalio Atarratze's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Tomás Ariando skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Pingüina's Tomás Ariando got control of the ball when Eulalio Atarratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eulalio Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tomás Ariando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracán. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Delmiro Quiroga made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pingüina booed when Huracán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huracán's Faustino Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Nuñez in the 54th minute of play. Tomás Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Atarratze in the 57th minute of play. Tomás Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Lehoi in the 61st minute of the match. When Amancio Bertin fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huracán's protests and gave Amancio Bertin a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Huracán's Faustino Asteri got control of the ball when Dionisio Fero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Pingüina defense, Haroldo Lehoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Ariando. Huracán's Faustino Asteri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustino Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Montay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Delmiro Quiroga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. After 88 played minutes Pingüina got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Maldonado. Eulalio Atarratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dionisio Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes of play, Pingüina's Dionisio Fero made it 3-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faustino Asteri was left in no man's land by his defense there!
