The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. BFC München's Manolo Schott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliks Mazić in the 4th minute of play. Club Atletico Arteixo's Ziya Onur Akıncıbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Arteixo from getting a goal against them. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliane Hog-Heidel in the 7th minute of play. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Aron Dehnicke sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Juliane Hog-Heidel managed to get in a good position for a shot. BFC München's supporters rose to their feet, but Juliane Hog-Heidel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Juliane Hog-Heidel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ziya Onur Akıncıbey. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Arteixo's goal looked a bit too open when Juliane Hog-Heidel came free, but Ziya Onur Akıncıbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Dennis Geske reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ziya Onur Akıncıbey. The goal made the score 2-0. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Arteixo's Vermudo Pantoja got a free kick in the 24th minute. After some careless play in the BFC München defense, Feliks Mazić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manolo Schott. The BFC München fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manolo Schott should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Arteixo's Vermudo Pantoja nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manolo Schott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 36th minute, Chano De Pedro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Arteixo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Vermudo Pantoja took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manolo Schott. Manolo Schott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Mazić in the 45th minute of play forced BFC München's goalkeeper Manolo Schott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hischam Cayrol fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BFC München's protests and gave Hischam Cayrol a yellow card for diving instead. Hischam Cayrol hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Club Atletico Arteixo were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Aron Dehnicke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Vermudo Pantoja fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Arteixo's protests and gave Vermudo Pantoja a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of BFC München booed when Club Atletico Arteixo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vermudo Pantoja didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, BFC München's goalkeeper Manolo Schott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vermudo Pantoja. The supporters of Club Atletico Arteixo booed when BFC München was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Rastätter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manolo Schott was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Vermudo Pantoja capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vermudo Pantoja really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliane Hog-Heidel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Arteixo's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Geske came free, but Ziya Onur Akıncıbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliane Hog-Heidel in the 72nd minute of the match. Dennis Geske charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Geske the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dennis Geske kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Manolo Schott didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 78th minute, which inside left pole to 2-7. Ziya Onur Akıncıbey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliane Hog-Heidel in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Mazić in the 84th minute of play forced BFC München's goalkeeper Manolo Schott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vermudo Pantoja scored 2-8 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manolo Schott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manolo Schott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertol Martínez, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. BFC München's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bertol Martínez 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-9. The BFC München fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atletico Arteixo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
