With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baybora Temcit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute, Erman Samet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Saul Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baybora Temcit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Baudelio came free, but Baybora Temcit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Naike in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baybora Temcit saved GALATASARAY from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Naike in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baybora Temcit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Baybora Temcit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Baudelio in the 46th minute of play forced GALATASARAY's goalkeeper Baybora Temcit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Suero came free, but Baybora Temcit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Baudelio was the one to do the kick off. Apolo Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 51st minute Orhan Veli Kutay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Quintan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Jaime Pacorro in the 54th minute really tested Baybora Temcit's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Mariano Cai kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Severiano Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baybora Temcit having to interfere. When Saul Naike came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Γ Ξ D fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Naike couldn't finish the play. Armando Quintan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasret Baltacı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Teyo lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Γ Ξ D:s Armando Quintan showed great skill when he stopped Orhan Veli Kutay:s penalty. 75 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's Ahmet Ömür Şıran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Quintan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute of the match GALATASARAY got a corner. Γ Ξ D's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orhan Veli Kutay ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 80th minute, GALATASARAY's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ivan Baudelio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Severiano Suero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baybora Temcit came out of the goal and Severiano Suero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 84 played minutes Γ Ξ D got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pacorro. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Nazım Askeroğlu sped through Γ Ξ D's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armando Quintan. In the 88th minute, Hasret Baltacı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GALATASARAY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Ivan Baudelio came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baybora Temcit could save by the left post. The audience was convinced that Nazım Askeroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Quintan was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
