Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arvid Carlsson started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tavo Tomat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Bivall in the 8th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Bivall came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. August Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasper Bivall got free with Jimmy Olsson in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, one of Linköpings AIK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Henrik Kilström shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 23rd minute Arvid Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Kasper Bivall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kasper Bivall might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimmy Olsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kasper Bivall ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Bivall came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julien Staffelbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. August Hjortberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasper Bivall in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Olsson saved Linköpings AIK from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kasper Bivall. Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 38th minute of play. When Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flamengo's goalie prevented a goal. Linköpings AIK were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Flamengo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marbjörn Garpsson took the corner. 42 minutes into the game, Linköpings AIK's Willy Witarya nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Hjortberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edwardt Balmett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jimmy Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Linköpings AIK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kasper Bivall made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Carlsson came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albin Nilsson took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised August Hjortberg. August Hjortberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 62nd minute, Henrik Kilström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flamengo's Fredric Zander was substituted for Edwardt Balmett. Jimmy Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kasper Bivall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Svensson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Arturo Espiridion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Espiridion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Olsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arturo Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linköpings AIK's Joakim Mikaelsson was substituted for Willy Witarya. In the 81st minute, Arvid Carlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linköpings AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joakim Mikaelsson in the 84th minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper August Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Bivall came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Joakim Mikaelsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of August Hjortberg. Joakim Mikaelsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Linköpings AIK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
