Melchor Esiquio helped the player get up and apologised. Melchor Esiquio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Alfredo Otoniel made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Santo Panpili sent off a good shot on target. Leon Videl hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Frisia AFC's Santos Vigil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo De Paul in the 39th minute of play. When Santo Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frisia AFC's protests and gave Santo Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Frisia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Panpili. 41 minutes into the match, Everardo Calvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Vigil. Frisia AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Calvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After having played for 45 minutes, Godfredo Efraim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frisia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Efraim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Videl in the 46th minute of play forced PiCaNTeS FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Calvino to make the kick off.
