Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Hungary's Tivadar Demeter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tivadar Demeter scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tolek Kiszkiel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Poland's Harry Maguire pulled a muscle in his leg after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 9 minutes into the game, Csongor Tálas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poland the free kick. Csongor Tálas hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Poland's Herbert Wincek was substituted for Harry Maguire. In the 9th minute, Csongor Tálas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poland's Tolek Kiszkiel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Poland from getting a goal against them. When Nike Cavia came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nike Cavia couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Pawel Dawidowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fülöp Marton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nike Cavia, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute Csongor Tálas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolek Kiszkiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Poland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ákos Auer took the corner. Csongor Tálas was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Fülöp Marton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nike Cavia's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Fülöp Marton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The wind increased when Nike Cavia made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Hungary's Fülöp Marton got control of the ball when Tadeusz Raschke tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Nike Cavia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fülöp Marton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 65th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fülöp Marton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nike Cavia in the 68th minute of the match. Fülöp Marton didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Hungary made a substitution. László Gácsi replaced Tivadar Demeter. Hungary's Cristiano Ronald was substituted for Csongor Tálas. Poland's Beniamin Huk was substituted for Gilbert Cipinski. Hungary made a substitution. Áron Bódog replaced Lajos Szatmári. 81 minutes into the match, Hungary's László Gácsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tolek Kiszkiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fülöp Marton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Raschke, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Hungary's Fülöp Marton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Jajko in the 90th minute of play. The Poland fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Poland's Tymoteusz Jajko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match was over Poland could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hungary throughout the match.
