In the 18thth minute of the game Avram Elenescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Balaban in the 19th minute of play forced NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goalkeeper 俞锋烽 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ştefan Trif made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's Andres Montez. 22 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Aanuţei came free, but 俞锋烽 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desiderio Florian went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Baldomiro Pio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 俞锋烽 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Balaban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 俞锋烽 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Balaban in the 38th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Avram Elenescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st match minute, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Montez to maneuver through the defense. 俞锋烽 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avram Elenescu's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Balaban came free, but 俞锋烽 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Vintilă Stoicea hit a great ball.

NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Balaban in the 55th minute of play. When FC Buzău's Avram Elenescu in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With his leg 俞锋烽 managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when FC Buzău's Leonard Aanuţei fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 77thth minute of the game Avram Elenescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's 俞锋烽 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute Traian Balaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞锋烽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Vinicio Walme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NEWELL´S OLD BOYS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Buzău the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Vinicio Walme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gheorghe Baldovin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Mergildo in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Traian Balaban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞锋烽 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Walme hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, FC Buzău's Traian Balaban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 俞锋烽 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 俞锋烽 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The FC Buzău supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Buzău would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
