In the 13th minute of the match La Scaloneta got a corner. F. C. Clonmels Devils's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enrique Rozarius ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on La Scaloneta's corner Enrique Rozarius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andrea Sabatini quite easily take care of the ball. In the 15th match minute, F. C. Clonmels Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Urb to maneuver through the defense. When La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F. C. Clonmels Devils's Andrea Sabatini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 24th minute of play. When Beniamin Gollob fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F. C. Clonmels Devils's protests and gave Beniamin Gollob a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes F. C. Clonmels Devils got a freekick which was hit by Beniamin Gollob. With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli got control of the ball when Janusz Wielowiejski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F. C. Andrea Sabatini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Izel in the 36th minute of play. Turgut Şimşektürk kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Andrea Sabatini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Rozarius went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Janusz Wielowiejski made the kick off in the second half. Andrea Sabatini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilberto Izel's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd match minute, F. C. Clonmels Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Tokarczyk to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of F. C. Clonmels Devils booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bartlomiej Olejarz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Franco Moscatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Gollob came free, but Franco Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Polat Aranda got free with Andrea Sabatini in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th match minute, F. C. Clonmels Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalle Urb to maneuver through the defense. Andrea Sabatini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Izel in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Gilberto Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Olejarz in the 87th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The La Scaloneta players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
