Augusto Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Călin Ghioncu made a huge save. Călin Ghioncu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Călin Ghioncu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jago Štriker in the 32nd minute of the match. Teobald Karanewski scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carpathians's Călin Ghioncu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Carpathians from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Teobald Karanewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when Jago Štriker came free, but Călin Ghioncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Carpathians were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobald Karanewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Călin Ghioncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 57 minutes of play, Gracie Barra's Jago Štriker made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Ghioncu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Karanewski in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Teobald Karanewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Falcão Cunha. That made the score 2-3 in the 63 minute of play. Gracie Barra's Nilton Botelho was substituted for Jago Štriker. In the 68th minute Augusto Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Călin Ghioncu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Carpathians's attentive Constantin Bot managed to snatch the ball when Thiago Silvan made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. Falcão Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Dobay in the 83rd minute of play. Călin Ghioncu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Carpathians defense, Augusto Saldanha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Ghioncu. The Carpathians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Ghioncu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Feteanu in the 92nd minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 minutes of play, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Călin Ghioncu was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Gracie Barra were the better team. Gracie Barra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
