After 5 minutes La Scaloneta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso Gar who took care of the corner kick. Antonio Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Diaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Moscatelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ψ virgen Ψ's Victorino Diaz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franco Moscatelli. Franco Moscatelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Victorino Diaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Moscatelli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. When Victorino Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ψ virgen Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Diaz couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Gilberto Izel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Sengrat. Ψ virgen Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Izel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A collision led to Ψ virgen Ψ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Carmelo Iraitz hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Ψ virgen Ψ were awarded a corner. Celso Gar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Celso Gar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli did a great save. Gilberto Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enrique Rozarius hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Diaz made a kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Gilberto Izel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Izel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Iraitz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Diaz came free, but Franco Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ψ virgen Ψ's Antonio Sengrat got control of the ball when Gilberto Izel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Scaloneta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
