Lilywhites's Modesto Oakley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Lilywhites from getting a goal against them. Modesto Oakley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teta Grande in the 9th minute. Teta Grande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Oakley having to make a save. Teta Grande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Modesto Oakley made a huge save. Amerigo Egger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Fonda kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Denis Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amerigo Egger in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Frodo Di Marco threw the ball into play from the sideline. Knight Of Dawn's Franco Baresi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cosimo Michelini's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Urtats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Lilywhites got a corner. Knight Of Dawn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ermanno Baratta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Cosimo Michelini got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 21 minutes into the match. Denis Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosimo Michelini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lilywhites's goalkeeper Modesto Oakley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Knight Of Dawn's Denis Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Egger in the 28th minute of play. Klement Belko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Amerigo Egger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Knight Of Dawn's Teta Grande slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Oakley. That made the score 1-1 after 39 minutes of play. In the 43rd minute, Knight Of Dawn's Teta Grande dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Teta Grande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Modesto Oakley made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Amerigo Egger made the kick off in the second half. Teta Grande took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Oakley. Modesto Oakley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 62 minutes into the game, Teta Grande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Modesto Oakley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Knight Of Dawn made a substitution. Gregorio Caton replaced Bruno Norino. 69 minutes into the game, Knight Of Dawn's Teta Grande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Oakley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Ermanno Baratta took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Urtats. Denis Urtats dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. Denis Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Baratta in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lilywhites's goalkeeper Modesto Oakley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Róbert Szepes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Modesto Oakley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qiu Yuan Jun went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Lilywhites's Cosimo Michelini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denis Urtats. Denis Urtats yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-3. In the 96th minute Qiu Yuan Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Oakley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Knight Of Dawn fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lilywhites had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
