NDG Fury FC's Theron Dooley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cuero Buseth in the 3rd minute of play. The supporters of NDG Fury FC booed when Alvi Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's goalkeeper Téo Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Luke. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Arenstedt got free with Téo Leite in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, NDG Fury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilbert Ugalde came free, but Theron Dooley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Ómar Sharif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Karlsson in the 17th minute of play forced NDG Fury FC's goalkeeper Theron Dooley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Mårten Arenstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind NDG Fury FC's goalkeeper Theron Dooley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mårten Arenstedt came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Téo Leite could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cuero Buseth in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theron Dooley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 28 minutes into the match, NDG Fury FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilbert Ugalde came free, but Theron Dooley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theron Dooley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cuero Buseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by NDG Fury FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wilbert Ugalde was slow to take the kick. During this time Alvi Verde's players had a chance to rest. Téo Leite was a little too slow when Chauncey Veilleux got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 42 minutes, Cuero Buseth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvi Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cuero Buseth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo Leite made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Benjamin Davies sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
NDG Fury FC's Theron Dooley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save NDG Fury FC from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Theron Dooley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Bert Karlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Cuero Buseth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Theron Dooley. That made the score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. Téo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvestre Larocque in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Rodolfo Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theron Dooley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Alvi Verde getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bert Karlsson hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Jorge Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Alvi Verde got a freekick which was hit by Wilbert Ugalde. Alvi Verde's Téo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olen Huynh in the 90th minute of play. NDG Fury FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pasquale Circelli in the 92nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Jimeno Barea got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Téo Leite quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 93 minutes into the game, Jimeno Barea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NDG Fury FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvi Verde the free kick. A collision led to NDG Fury FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jimeno Barea hit a great ball. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind NDG Fury FC's goalkeeper Theron Dooley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
