Cuero Buseth scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Alvi Verde getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cuero Buseth hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Jimeno Gumaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Cuero Buseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Cuero Buseth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Cuero Buseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cuero Buseth in the 22nd minute of play. Marcus Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cuero Buseth went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After 29 played minutes, Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcus Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alvi Verde reached it. In the game's 29th minute Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Marcus Silva and thus the score was 1-5. After 32 played minutes Los Espinillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Montrell. 33 minutes into the match, Cuero Buseth notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva. Marcus Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute Cuero Buseth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvi Verde's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Serafino Quilo scored to the left of an out of position Téo Leite, making the score, 2-6. Cuero Buseth struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Marcus Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvi Verde. In the 43rd match minute, Los Espinillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zula Munko to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 48 minutes, Hortêncio Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvi Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jimeno Gumaro made a kick off. Marcus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cuero Buseth in the 56th minute of the match. Baldomiro Montrell made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ricardo Mateus. Téo Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Munko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cuero Buseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Marcus Silva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Téo Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Gumaro in the 70th minute of the match. Marcus Silva came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Alvi Verde's Cuero Buseth. But to his dismay, Cuero Buseth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. Alvi Verde's Bert Karlsson was substituted for Cuero Buseth. Bert Karlsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bert Karlsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Bert Karlsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcus Silva could save by the left post. Bert Karlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Luis Orlondon made in the 88th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Poli Albizua. Téo Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Munko, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Alvi Verde's Bert Karlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-8. The Alvi Verde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Alvi Verde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
