In the 6th minute Bernardinho Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Leiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Belo Academy booed when LEBEG Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Verna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardinho Leão got free with Thiago Leiva in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Zapolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Etxekopar in the 20th minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's Arturo Zapolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bolli Boll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Zapolski scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Eduardo Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfredo Travassos to strike the kick off in the second half. Serginho Ramos hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Belo Academy's José Augusto de Andrade got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 62 played minutes Belo Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ferenc Szántó. LEBEG Team's Thiago Leiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Travassos in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, LEBEG Team's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Leão came free, but Thiago Leiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Etxekopar came free, but Luís Eduardo Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The LEBEG Team players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
