The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Kassa Ko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kassa Ko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Guldsmedshyttan IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kassa Ko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Rudolf Finnman was substituted for Ian Boberg. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guldsmedshyttan IK! Guldsmedshyttan IK:s Magne Ahlberg showed great skill when he stopped Leif Skoog:s penalty. Guldsmedshyttan IK's Zebastian Lindman got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Guldsmedshyttan IK booed when Snedspark IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddie Nordmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zebastian Lindman in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ed De Goeij saved Snedspark IF from getting behind. Ed De Goeij made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Zebastian Lindman sent off a good shot on target. If Zebastian Lindman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Guldsmedshyttan IK's Ed De Goeij threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zebastian Lindman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zebastian Lindman got free with Ed De Goeij in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Guldsmedshyttan IK booed when Snedspark IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Nässén didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Kalle Nässén in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Guldsmedshyttan IK's Jonathan Sandberg. Zebastian Lindman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Ed De Goeij made a huge save. Zebastian Lindman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ed De Goeij having to make a save. Ed De Goeij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zebastian Lindman in the 35th minute. Snedspark IF's Ed De Goeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Lindman in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zebastian Lindman got free with Ed De Goeij in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the game, Zebastian Lindman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ed De Goeij. Zebastian Lindman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeno Sama was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Guldsmedshyttan IK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Torbjörn Henriksson hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Magne Ahlberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Magne Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeno Sama, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeno Sama in the 57th minute of play forced Guldsmedshyttan IK's goalkeeper Magne Ahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Zebastian Lindman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ed De Goeij was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Snedspark IF's Ed De Goeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Hägglund in the 66th minute of play. Kalle Nässén hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Måns Hägglund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guldsmedshyttan IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Georg Forssell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed De Goeij having to interfere. Måns Hägglund took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ed De Goeij. Ed De Goeij dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Ed De Goeij didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Guldsmedshyttan IK's Måns Hägglund shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Ed De Goeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Hägglund in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Guldsmedshyttan IK got a corner. Snedspark IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aron Apelqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 94 minutes, Rudolf Finnman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guldsmedshyttan IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudolf Finnman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Guldsmedshyttan IK were the better team. Guldsmedshyttan IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
