After 2 played minutes SK Mons got a freekick which was hit by Chen Hai Zhi. When SK Mons's Leif Olofsson in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HEDONISM U18's goalie prevented a goal. Mikael Rudqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Puttemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Trevor Eubank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Rudqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Luka Van Aken made a precise shot to the right of Mikael Rudqvist. HEDONISM U18's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. HEDONISM U18's Mikael Rudqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor Eubank in the 23rd minute of play. Jerom Smoors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from August Ryberg in the 25th minute of the match. Leif Olofsson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Trevor Eubank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Rudqvist having to interfere. Mikael Rudqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trevor Eubank, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Leif Olofsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikael Rudqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 42nd minute, Leif Olofsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Mons fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 48th minute of the match HEDONISM U18 got a corner. SK Mons's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harald Boberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. HEDONISM U18's Ingmar Haström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jerom Smoors in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Steven Puttemans made a kick off. After 52 played minutes HEDONISM U18 got a freekick which was hit by Koios Paloumbas. In the 55th minute Trevor Eubank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Rudqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Chen Hai Zhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, HEDONISM U18's Mikael Rudqvist got control of the ball when Steven Puttemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. HEDONISM U18's Mikael Rudqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leif Olofsson in the 61st minute of play. Mikael Rudqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Ulici in the 84th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Steven Puttemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Rudqvist was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Mikael Rudqvist made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Steven Puttemans sent off a good shot on target. Steven Puttemans's late challenge caught a HEDONISM U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steven Puttemans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, SK Mons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Puttemans to maneuver through the defense. Harald Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerom Smoors having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Bagge in the 96th minute of play forced SK Mons's goalkeeper Jerom Smoors to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SK Mons players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
