The Candelaria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Candelaria FC's Okanalp Özdil in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Danilo Testa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Gonsalvo in the 21st minute of the match. Sabastian Rodriguez's late challenge caught a Sacando del Medio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabastian Rodriguez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Candelaria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabastian Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Loren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okanalp Özdil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Christian Gómez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sacando del Medio's Eulalio Omero quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 39th minute, Sacando del Medio's Artemio Odol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Danilo Testa. Danilo Testa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Artemio Odol came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Sacando del Medio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Odol couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Okanalp Özdil was the one to do the kick off. Marciano Lekubegi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Loren having to interfere. Sabastian Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Cristobal Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sacando del Medio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristobal Kelemen couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Okanalp Özdil fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bernardo Loren, passed just outside the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Bernardo Loren successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Sven-Olof Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Marquez got free with Bernardo Loren in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's Sven-Olof Sjöberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Loren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timoteo Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bernardo Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Sjöberg in the 87th minute of play. Danilo Testa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Odol, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Bernardo Loren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Sjöberg's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Despite being the better team, Candelaria FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
