Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when 余永川 got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's zone, Eugeniusz Kaczanek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Bufi came out of the goal and Eugeniusz Kaczanek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Gwidon Cwojdak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Maria França was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gong Fan kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. José Maria França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Maria França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Cwojdak in the 15th minute of the match. Ye Hong Shi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hílton Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Eckart Obels came free, but Arthur Bufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Enrique de Mendonça. Arthur Bufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eckart Obels, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. José Maria França came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川. But to his dismay, 余永川 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 余永川 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hílton Penha was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's 余永川 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Maria França. José Maria França yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. With a little luck, Birra Cultura F.C's José Maria França got control of the ball when 余永川 tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hílton Penha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arthur Bufi was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Hílton Penha sped through Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arthur Bufi. With a little luck, Birra Cultura F.C's José Maria França got control of the ball when 余永川 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, one of Birra Cultura F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Birra Cultura F.C. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Olavo Quadros was substituted for Enrique de Mendonça. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Venancio Froylan with Eugeniusz Kaczanek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Cwojdak in the 80th minute of play forced Birra Cultura F.C's goalkeeper José Maria França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Roman Riaño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute 余永川 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Venancio Froylan with Eugeniusz Kaczanek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 94th minute, Gong Fan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 97 minutes, 余永川 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but 余永川 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cruzeiro Esporte Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
