A collision led to Sakura Storm getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zak Tan hit a great ball. When Elder Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the América-SC F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Domingues couldn't finish the play. Enrique Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabi Gol in the 17th minute of play. Gabi Gol struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Enrique Belo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for América-SC F.C.. Enrique Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo dos Santos in the 25th minute of play. Gabi Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Belo having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabi Gol in the 37th minute of play forced Sakura Storm's goalkeeper Enrique Belo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabi Gol in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Belo saved Sakura Storm from getting behind. In the 49th minute, Joaquim Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kobe Haaland to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Erasmo dos Santos could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Enrique Belo however easily saved by the left post. Erasmo dos Santos took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Belo. Enrique Belo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Enrique Belo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo dos Santos in the 62nd minute. The supporters of América-SC F.C. booed when Sakura Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Ocaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo dos Santos took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Belo. Enrique Belo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 69 minutes into the game, Erasmo dos Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enrique Belo. Erasmo dos Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Erasmo dos Santos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Enrique Belo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Erasmo dos Santos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. América-SC F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 83 played minutes Sakura Storm got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Ocaña. In the 84th minute, Gabi Gol made a precise shot to the right of Enrique Belo. Sakura Storm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. With a little luck, Sakura Storm's Enrique Belo got control of the ball when Gabi Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrique Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabi Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sakura Storm's zone, Gabi Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Belo came out of the goal and Gabi Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over América-SC F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sakura Storm throughout the match.
