Ksawery Bondel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho de Salles in the 14th minute of the match. Raí Rossi hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Anfilogino Lazzaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelinho de Salles got free with Ksawery Bondel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho de Salles came free, but Ksawery Bondel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Andreas Piovezan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elias Tharaldsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elias Tharaldsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Marcelo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Marcelinho de Salles made the kick off in the second half.
