Gianluca Lapadula scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wiktor Dudkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Li Xu Cheng sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerzy Dudek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wiktor Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Lapadula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gianluca Lapadula took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wiktor Dudkowski. Wiktor Dudkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A sloppy throw-in by Alfred Naumowicz in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KS Bukowe's Stanislao Kuparinen. In the 20th minute Gianluca Lapadula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiktor Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, KS Bukowe's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Ponce came free, but Jerzy Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Lapadula came free, but Wiktor Dudkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to KS Bukowe getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Marian Mondrowski hit a great ball. Wiktor Dudkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Lapadula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When MKS Pogoń Szczecin's Roch Chowaniec in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Bukowe's goalie prevented a goal. Roch Chowaniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerzy Dudek having to interfere. MKS Pogoń Szczecin made a substitution. Ignacy Rzegotka replaced Roch Chowaniec. After the first half KS Bukowe were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Ponce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Wieslaw Czajka fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Bukowe's protests and gave Wieslaw Czajka a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes KS Bukowe got a freekick which was hit by Wieslaw Czajka. Alfred Naumowicz made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ovando Vera immediately put the ball in play. Ignacy Rzegotka struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jerzy Dudek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Pogoń Szczecin. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind MKS Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Wiktor Dudkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Ponce notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of KS Bukowe's Jerzy Dudek. Jerzy Dudek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gianluca Lapadula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wiktor Dudkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Wiktor Dudkowski made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Gianluca Lapadula sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th match minute, MKS Pogoń Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Li Xu Cheng to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Gianluca Lapadula cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Wiktor Dudkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerzy Dudek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Bazan in the 85th minute of play. KS Bukowe's Jerzy Dudek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Majewski in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute MKS Pogoń Szczecin were awarded a corner. Ignacy Rzegotka went to the cornerflag to take it. Aleksander Majewski hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gianluca Lapadula managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Bukowe's supporters rose to their feet, but Gianluca Lapadula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wiktor Dudkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wiktor Dudkowski came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by KS Bukowe's Gianluca Lapadula. But to his dismay, Gianluca Lapadula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Gianluca Lapadula put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Wiktor Dudkowski.
