Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Victor Piţurcă started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Emerald's Victor Piţurcă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natalio Heli. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Tierra del Fuego FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Francis. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Ismael Baumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Ismael Baumer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tierra del Fuego FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Baumer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 22nd minute of play. If Victor Piţurcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Tierra del Fuego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Piţurcă came free, but Natalio Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Heli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Baumer in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Lobonț prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enrique Urtats made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ismael Baumer immediately put the ball in play. Ismael Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Lobonț having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Fidencio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tierra del Fuego FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emerald the free kick. In the 41st minute, Ciriaco Fidencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Baumer in the 44th minute of play forced Emerald's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Emerald made a substitution. Ioan Logofătu replaced Julio Iglesias. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Baumer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Grigore Stătescu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Ismael Baumer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Baumer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Lobonț having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Tierra del Fuego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Piţurcă came free, but Natalio Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Emerald got a corner. Tierra del Fuego FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Carioca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emerald's Ioan Logofătu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Natalio Heli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Emerald fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Emerald's Ioan Logofătu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 67th minute of play forced Tierra del Fuego FC's goalkeeper Natalio Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Emerald's goalkeeper Bogdan Lobonț had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Baumer. After 71 minutes of play Tierra del Fuego FC's Ciriaco Fidencio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Tierra del Fuego FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ciriaco Fidencio hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Emerald's Jaime Carioca tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tierra del Fuego FC made a substitution. Angelo Iturri replaced Ismael Baumer. When Celedonio Espiridion came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Tierra del Fuego FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Espiridion couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Batista struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Bogdan Lobonț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tierra del Fuego FC. After 85 minutes of play, Emerald's Victor Piţurcă made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Heli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Jaime Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Tierra del Fuego FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tierra del Fuego FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Emerald were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
