The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Fiery Chargers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Dos Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Neil Degabriele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Degabriele got free with Clemente de Godoi in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Seraċini Għawdxin's Song Wei Yun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clemente de Godoi. That made the score 1-0 after 29 minutes of play.
