An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiaan Tkint in the 7th minute of play forced KS Wymyśle's goalkeeper Antoni Kornasiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Kornasiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Rits's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tom Rits sped through KS Wymyśle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antoni Kornasiewicz. Royal Antwerp FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Ignacy Banach scored to the left of an out of position Bart-Jan Van De Beeck, making the score, 1-1. Antoni Kornasiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Rits in the 16th minute of play. Christiaan Tkint hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match, Ignacy Banach got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeffrey Ketelers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. That made the score 2-1 in the 23 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cheng Yong Zhou managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Wymyśle's supporters rose to their feet, but Cheng Yong Zhou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignacy Banach's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Bart-Jan Van De Beeck skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Refugio Vizcarreto got free with Bart-Jan Van De Beeck in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ignacy Banach sent off a good shot on target. After 31 played minutes Royal Antwerp FC got a freekick which was hit by Constantijn Ruelens. In the 32nd match minute, KS Wymyśle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffrey Ketelers to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Kornasiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thibau Robin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Bart-Jan Van De Beeck managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when KS Wymyśle's Ignacy Banach fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Antoni Kornasiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibau Robin in the 35th minute of play. Jeffrey Ketelers struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Wymyśle. Antoni Kornasiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiaan Tkint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute KS Wymyśle were awarded a corner. Refugio Vizcarreto went to the cornerflag to take it. Refugio Vizcarreto made a great header on KS Wymyśle's corner, it was just that Royal Antwerp FC's Bart-Jan Van De Beeck managed to reach the ball for a save. Cheng Yong Zhou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bart-Jan Van De Beeck having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thibau Robin to strike the kick off in the second half. Thibau Robin charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thibau Robin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KS Wymyśle booed when Royal Antwerp FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibau Robin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibau Robin scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antoni Kornasiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th minute, Ignacy Banach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Refugio Vizcarreto notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Royal Antwerp FC's Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thibau Robin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Antoni Kornasiewicz made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Thibau Robin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Antwerp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 83rd minute Thibau Robin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Kornasiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antoni Kornasiewicz made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Christiaan Tkint sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Royal Antwerp FC defense, Refugio Vizcarreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bart-Jan Van De Beeck. The Royal Antwerp FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bart-Jan Van De Beeck should have stopped the shot. A collision led to KS Wymyśle getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Aristides Gurutz hit a great ball.
