The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Dilan got free with Marcin Bartelak in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Wel Lidzbark's goalkeeper Marcin Bartelak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Coelho. ZENO's John Steinbeck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcin Bartelak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paulo Coelho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcin Bartelak came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Coelho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Coelho to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Coelho in the 51st minute of play forced Wel Lidzbark's goalkeeper Marcin Bartelak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wel Lidzbark getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tibor Pál-Szabó hit a great ball. If Atabek Oyhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, ZENO's Franz Kafka got control of the ball when Wojciech Pachucki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radoslaw Ziombkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the ZENO defense, Wojciech Pachucki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franz Kafka. The ZENO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franz Kafka should have stopped the shot.
