Máximo Azeredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utku Talha, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. ZENO's Franz Kafka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ZENO from getting a goal against them. If Osman Nuri İlter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Máximo Azeredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Coelho in the 36th minute of play. If Paulo Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Coelho in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute ZENO were awarded a corner. John Steinbeck went to the cornerflag to take it. ZENO's John Steinbeck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Máximo Azeredo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paulo Coelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Máximo Azeredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Coelho ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Paulo Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Azeredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Steve Buckley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franz Kafka. Steve Buckley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gez Eyre to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Matty Robson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Kafka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Máximo Azeredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Utku Talha's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute ZENO were awarded a corner. John Steinbeck went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that John Steinbeck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Máximo Azeredo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Máximo Azeredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baskın Üstünbay went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Máximo Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Steinbeck in the 63rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Baskın Üstünbay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Máximo Azeredo. That made the score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. In the 72nd minute, ZENO's Özgür Dilan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Máximo Azeredo. Máximo Azeredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The audience held their breath when Barrie Golding in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Franz Kafka's left hand side. With a little luck, White Eagles FC's Máximo Azeredo got control of the ball when Özgür Dilan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute Utku Talha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Azeredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeffrey Barratt hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
