Fonso Zotillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alexander Del Piero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Fonso Zotillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Del Piero in the 25th minute. Grigore Roşca kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Jurdan was the one to do the kick off. Alexander Del Piero might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fonso Zotillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Del Piero ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Montoia in the 54th minute of play forced Szimbas Lejonflock's goalkeeper Ni Jun Sha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Gonzalo Jurdan in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Szimbas Lejonflock's Billy Dahlberg. Billy Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, XV de Piracicaba's Eurico Novaes got a free kick in the 65th minute. Szimbas Lejonflock's Edgar Andersson was substituted for Simon Askelöf. Alexander Del Piero might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fonso Zotillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alexander Del Piero ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, XV de Piracicaba's Yuri Tasso got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Isac Blom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szimbas Lejonflock fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Njurenius in the 80th minute of play. Szimbas Lejonflock made a substitution. Sven Morat replaced Alexander Del Piero. Szimbas Lejonflock's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paul Gustafsson in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Isac Blom notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo. Fonso Zotillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fonso Zotillo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the XV de Piracicaba players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Szimbas Lejonflock.
