The XV de Piracicaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fonso Zotillo should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Fonso Zotillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Prestes in the 85th minute of the match.
