In the 5th minute İsa Fındık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arlindo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nedim Ertaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valar morghulis's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Nedim Ertaş in the 11th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Valar morghulis's Arlindo Guedes threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from İsa Fındık, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Paulista in the 21st minute of play forced Valar morghulis's goalkeeper Rüştü Rencber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's goal looked a bit too open when İsa Fındık came free, but Arlindo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsa Fındık in the 31st minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İsa Fındık recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İsa Fındık in the 40th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antônio Carlos Bueno was the one to do the kick off. Rüştü Rencber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 52nd minute. Arlindo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Nedim Ertaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. İsa Fındık took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Guedes. After 60 played minutes Valar morghulis got a freekick which was hit by Arif Egemen Ruzi. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by AF CERRADO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gökay Ömür was slow to take the kick. During this time Valar morghulis's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Valar morghulis's Gökay Ömür to fire away a dangerous shot which Arlindo Guedes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. AF CERRADO made a substitution. Felix Smits replaced Carlos Alberto Jacinto. AF CERRADO's Dennis Contaldi was substituted for Róbson Bittencourt. Valar morghulis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gökay Ömür in the 69th minute.
