When Florence Diaz fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jagiellonia Denver's protests and gave Florence Diaz a yellow card for diving instead. Florence Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ZG Hakleri's Vlado Jozić got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Milivoj Kovač left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZG Hakleri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When ZG Hakleri's Dragutin Frantal in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Hélio Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cacá Čačak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holer Nolle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Holer Nolle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Čačak, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Michal Majdoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Holer Nolle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Miran Komadina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, Jagiellonia Denver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florence Diaz to maneuver through the defense. The referee showed Per-Olof Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jagiellonia Denver fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Augustin Čanković walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cacá Čačak to strike the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, ZG Hakleri's goalkeeper Holer Nolle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hélio Donatello. 56 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Denver's Cacá Čačak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Holer Nolle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Cacá Čačak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Holer Nolle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute of the match Augustin Čanković sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eric Gary skillfully saved the ball. Eric Gary stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragutin Frantal's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 80 minutes of play, ZG Hakleri's Dragutin Frantal made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Gary was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jagiellonia Denver's 林邦瑜 was substituted for Ricardo Gareca. Jagiellonia Denver made a substitution. Venceslas Borizar replaced Viorel Olaru. Eric Gary stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragutin Frantal's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Hélio Donatello's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Holer Nolle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dragutin Frantal in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Gary saved Jagiellonia Denver from getting behind. Holer Nolle made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Hélio Donatello sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Jagiellonia Denver's corner Per-Olof Åkesson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Holer Nolle quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ZG Hakleri had won after a very even match.
