In the 16th minute Valter Festas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Selimhan Gulson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Patric Bierhoff left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC KALELİ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Bierhoff in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Servet Okaner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paco Dean. Paco Dean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 42 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Bierhoff came free, but Paco Dean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led FC KALELİ's Antoni Camarasa to fire away a dangerous shot which Paco Dean despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The MKS Legion Częstochowa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC KALELİ were winning 0-3.

MKS Legion Częstochowa made a substitution. Napoleon Chlebek replaced Roch Lodowy. The wind increased when Valter Festas made the kick off in the second half. Patric Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paco Dean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MKS Legion Częstochowa's zone, Patric Bierhoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paco Dean came out of the goal and Patric Bierhoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of FC KALELİ booed when MKS Legion Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Festas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Patric Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KALELİ's supporters rose to their feet, but Patric Bierhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paco Dean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save MKS Legion Częstochowa from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Kojiro Hyuga took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Paco Dean to make any attempt to save it.
