The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, LOTOS WARSZAWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafal Domaradzki to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Mats McNamara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wyoming Cowboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tiburcio Guerrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lanny Lilly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wyoming Cowboys were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after LOTOS WARSZAWA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nils McNamara took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Mats McNamara managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Wojciech Glaza hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, LOTOS WARSZAWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafal Domaradzki to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Wyoming Cowboys's Nils McNamara tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Henning Berglund made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Wojciech Glaza sent off a good shot on target. Henning Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wojciech Glaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wojciech Glaza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Berglund having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Wyoming Cowboys got a freekick which was hit by Leif Jespersson. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Harry Sjö with Edwin McNamara as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 38 minutes, Ragnar McNamara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wyoming Cowboys and the LOTOS WARSZAWA players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats McNamara in the 42nd minute of play forced LOTOS WARSZAWA's goalkeeper Tiburcio Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiburcio Guerrero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Lilly, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats McNamara in the 44th minute of play forced LOTOS WARSZAWA's goalkeeper Tiburcio Guerrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Edwin McNamara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Guerrero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wojciech Glaza made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Edwin McNamara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tiburcio Guerrero, 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Tiburcio Guerrero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Wyoming Cowboys's Tiburcio Guerrero threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mats McNamara, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rodney Huston kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Tiburcio Guerrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats McNamara in the 75th minute of play. Wojciech Glaza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Guerrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats McNamara in the 80th minute of the match. Tiburcio Guerrero was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Rodney Huston capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodney Huston really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After a rather tough play, Wyoming Cowboys's Mats McNamara got a free kick in the 86th minute. LOTOS WARSZAWA's Tolek Mindykowski was substituted for Rafal Domaradzki. If Wojciech Glaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute Ragnar McNamara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
