When Lautaro Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Acosta couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the game, ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Wladyslaw Cielencki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Savenije made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The Gonzo Style f.c players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcial Silviano to make the kick off. Gonzo Style f.c's Emanuele Bertoni managed to work through ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. In the 63rd minute Teofilo Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Savenije saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Marcial Silviano got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Ovidio Marin was substituted for Lautaro Acosta. 71 minutes into the game, Jorge Joachim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lucas Savenije. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Joachim got free with Lucas Savenije in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute of the game Cesare Di Loreto made a throw-in which Damiano Mian played forward. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Jorge Joachim sped through Gonzo Style f.c's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Savenije. The supporters of ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Pagliarini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorge Joachim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Savenije. That made the score 0-8 in the 84 minute of play.
