FCPorto's Dewa Cinta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Langmaier in the 8th minute of play. Jan Langmaier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dewa Cinta having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FCPorto's zone, Pio Mumme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dewa Cinta came out of the goal and Pio Mumme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dewa Cinta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Langmaier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Langmaier took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dewa Cinta. Dewa Cinta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 22ndth minute of the game Pio Mumme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCPorto's Dewa Cinta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dewa Cinta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pio Mumme, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FCPorto's goalkeeper Dewa Cinta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th match minute, FCPorto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heitor Garcia to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FCPorto booed when SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Drewes didn't get a good kick on the ball. FCPorto's Teodoro Cavaco got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Langmaier made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FCPorto's Adolfo Póvoas got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Petro Diem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Candeias in the 56th minute of play forced SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's goalkeeper Rocco Carnitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Langmaier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dewa Cinta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Jan Langmaier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dewa Cinta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Caldas charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Caldas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FCPorto getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Daniel Caldas hit a great ball. Jan Langmaier took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dewa Cinta. Dewa Cinta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 72nd minute, FCPorto's Manuel Candeias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Rocco Carnitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Cavaco in the 75th minute of play. Manuel Candeias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocco Carnitz having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Ty Scheringer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin booed when FCPorto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dewa Cinta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Langmaier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
