In the 7th minute Stefanos Rigopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute Karl-Heinz Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 9th minute of play forced FC Izesti's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, FC Izesti's goal looked a bit too open when Valerios Voutsas came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurențiu Susara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Gâțea in the 43rd minute of play. Saronida FC's Stelios Skountouflas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sandu Vâlceanu, made in the 46th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosmin Gâțea was the one to do the kick off. Saronida FC's Laurențiu Susara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Gâțea in the 51st minute of play. Gigel Lozovan made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Saronida FC's Stelios Skountouflas. In the 58th minute Cosmin Gâțea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Susara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saronida FC made a substitution. Huang Tian Yun replaced Valerios Voutsas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huang Tian Yun got free with Bogdan Stelea in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huang Tian Yun in the 72nd minute of play forced FC Izesti's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Stelea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Heinz Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stelios Skountouflas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Bogdan Stelea 75 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Huang Tian Yun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bogdan Stelea, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 86th minute of play forced FC Izesti's goalkeeper Bogdan Stelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Savas Ravousis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 92nd match minute, FC Izesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Vâlceanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Stelios Skountouflas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Stelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Stelea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Saronida FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
