Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Red Devils from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute, Marcel da Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Elizardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel da Rocha made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 54th minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Tobias Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 56th minute of the match. Bartlomiej Rakoski kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Simone Spano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Marcel da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Red Devils supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Red Devils would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
