Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcel da Rocha started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Devils's Marcel da Rocha. But to his dismay, Marcel da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 9th minute Luiz Guilherme Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Gartxot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 10th minute of the match. Braulio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvaldo Brasil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcel da Rocha went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. 18 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Glauco Baiano came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, SAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Salles to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Carneiro in the 22nd minute of play. Braulio Gartxot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel da Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Brasil made a huge save. In the 29th minute Red Devils were awarded a corner. Sotos Zervoulakos went to the cornerflag to take it. Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Carneiro in the 34th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Agnaldo Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAS and the Red Devils players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SAS's Agnaldo Araújo got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of SAS booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simone Spano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agnaldo Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agostinho Carneiro was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 69th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot got control of the ball when Luiz Guilherme Paraense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 72nd minute of play. Red Devils's Sotos Zervoulakos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edvaldo Brasil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Dawid Kalak hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Marcel da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Edvaldo Brasil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in SAS's zone, Marcel da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Brasil came out of the goal and Marcel da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Marcel da Rocha notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of SAS's Edvaldo Brasil. Edvaldo Brasil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Red Devils's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
