An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Spychalski in the 14th minute of play forced Blue Boys Predators's goalkeeper Maximilian Wallmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Arvin Lindström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Blue Boys Predators's goal looked a bit too open when Dominik Spychalski came free, but Maximilian Wallmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximilian Wallmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Spychalski in the 33rd minute of play. When Dominik Spychalski came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the FC Alkomaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominik Spychalski couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Blue Boys Predators's Maximilian Wallmark got control of the ball when Dominik Spychalski tried to sneak it across the goal line.
