Andrei Cerbu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Bannister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Wasyl Redisz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wasyl Redisz's late challenge caught a GLADIADORES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wasyl Redisz helped the player get up and apologised. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anacleto Rozarius to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, GLADIADORES's Haakon Taankvist got a free kick in the 52nd minute.
