The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Luis Bonet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Luis Bonet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrei Cerbu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Donato in the 12th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Jo Øverås to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Sérgio Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Andrei Cerbu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Bonet. 20 minutes into the match, Daustad's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Rozarius came free, but Jo Øverås reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Luis Bonet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrei Cerbu. GLADIADORES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Bonet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Donato in the 30th minute of the match. Paşa Safih made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sérgio Donato immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilson Andrade in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jo Øverås saved Daustad from getting behind. In the 84th minute of the match GLADIADORES got a corner. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. César Souto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jo Øverås showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Andrei Cerbu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bonet in the 94th minute of play.
