Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven-Olof Vestlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Ritchie Stansfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ritchie Stansfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CAN ERZURUM fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blažej Blazejowski got free with Joar Scheie in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th match minute, Real Ayuntamiento CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şehzade Mustafa to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Şehzade Mustafa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ritchie Stansfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 15th minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes Real Ayuntamiento CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Şefik Karadağ who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of CAN ERZURUM booed when Real Ayuntamiento CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şehzade Mustafa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the CAN ERZURUM and the Real Ayuntamiento CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Blažej Blazejowski made the kick off in the second half. Joar Scheie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Tomaszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Joar Scheie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Cucao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damazy Tomaszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Real Ayuntamiento CF's Blažej Blazejowski in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAN ERZURUM's goalie prevented a goal. Joar Scheie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Tomaszewski in the 62nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Blažej Blazejowski put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Joar Scheie. Ritchie Stansfield made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Sven-Olof Vestlund sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Damazy Tomaszewski notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of CAN ERZURUM's Joar Scheie. Joar Scheie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Olof Vestlund got free with Ritchie Stansfield in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Ritchie Stansfield had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Cucao in the 76th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Pedro Cucao cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Joar Scheie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joar Scheie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Cucao in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Sven-Olof Vestlund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ritchie Stansfield. Sven-Olof Vestlund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. CAN ERZURUM's Charles Puyol was substituted for Javier Zanetti. In the 94th minute, CAN ERZURUM's Sven-Olof Vestlund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ritchie Stansfield. Ritchie Stansfield yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-5.
