Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rui Sá started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Sá got free with Augusto Asencio in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdo Passos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Augusto Asencio. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Cristiano Cigarans short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Augusto Asencio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valdo Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Asencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Sá in the 19th minute of the match. Augusto Asencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Augusto Asencio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Cuenca S. C.'s Ibarra Vedeja got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Cristiano Cigaran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augusto Asencio. Cuenca S. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Cigaran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 34th minute, Esquadrão Lusitano's Valdo Passos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Augusto Asencio. Augusto Asencio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Valdo Passos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Augusto Asencio made a huge save. Augusto Asencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Augusto Asencio made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Cristiano Cigaran sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ibarra Vedeja in the 48th minute of play forced Esquadrão Lusitano's goalkeeper Vítor Damas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ibarra Vedeja to strike the kick off in the second half. Vítor Damas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ibarra Vedeja in the 51st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Esiquio during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 52 minutes into the game, one of Esquadrão Lusitano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Vítor Damas, was totally fooled by Cuenca S. C.'s Yambay Orsini, who 53 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Sá in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Asencio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Yambay Orsini came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cuenca S. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yambay Orsini couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Ibarra Vedeja came free, but Vítor Damas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Rubio Feruel had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 63 minutes into the game, Brett Fazey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esquadrão Lusitano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuenca S. C. the free kick. In the 64th minute, Brett Fazey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cuenca S. C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yambay Orsini in the 69th minute. Conrado Abalos tried in the 70th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Vítor Damas a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 3-2. Cuenca S. C.'s Augusto Asencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Cigaran in the 74th minute of play. Vítor Damas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yambay Orsini in the 76th minute. Augusto Asencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Sá in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Esquadrão Lusitano were awarded a corner. Tạ Bom went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Valdo Passos to score against Augusto Asencio in Cuenca S. C.'s goal. 4-2 after 79 minutes. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Cigaran in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Asencio saved Cuenca S. C. from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's goal looked a bit too open when Ibarra Vedeja came free, but Vítor Damas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Esquadrão Lusitano's Valdo Passos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Asencio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esquadrão Lusitano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tạ Bom in the 87th minute. Derman Anoia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Casado Aldaeta fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuenca S. C.'s protests and gave Casado Aldaeta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Cuenca S. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casado Aldaeta to maneuver through the defense. If Cristiano Cigaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esquadrão Lusitano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
