Islas FC's Vicente Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Hagi in the 11th minute of play. Benedicto Tonete's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Dantel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Felipe Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Murumaa in the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Valencia Santa Fe's goalkeeper Jeronimo Dantel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Alcântara. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Inocente in the 26th minute of play forced Islas FC's goalkeeper Vicente Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Ipar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Inocente in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute George Hagi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valencia Santa Fe's Jeronimo Dantel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Valencia Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. Jeronimo Dantel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Inko's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Ryan York hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Vicente Ipar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Hagi went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Islas FC's Vicente Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Inocente in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute of the match, Arnoldo Montrell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vicente Ipar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Islas FC's Aquiles Grabiel got a free kick in the 60th minute. George Hagi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Valencia Santa Fe's Jeronimo Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Tonete in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Islas FC! Felipe Inocente placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After 98 minutes, Arnoldo Montrell made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Islas FC's Vicente Ipar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Islas FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valencia Santa Fe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
