In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AEK S.C's goalkeeper Michael Hedström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, FUF F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Kousas came free, but Aurelio Lehen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Lehen was a little too slow when Giannis Kousas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 11th match minute, AEK S.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcin Baszczyński to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Bihar scored 1-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Hedström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AEK S.C's Michael Hedström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Bihar in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Bihar in the 20th minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Michael Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentino Ricci took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Hedström. Michael Hedström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 25 minutes into the game, Valentino Ricci cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. The supporters of FUF F.C booed when AEK S.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcin Baszczyński didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Atabek Ula shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Hedström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Buinton got free with Aurelio Lehen in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Atabek Ula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Michael Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Bihar in the 40th minute of play. In the 46th minute Valentino Ricci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Michael Hedström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Bihar in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Valentino Ricci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Hedström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. FUF F.C's Momo Sampler was substituted for Sergio Bihar. FUF F.C made a substitution. Maciej Jus replaced Valentino Ricci. In the 61st minute Giannis Kousas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Lehen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Momo Sampler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AEK S.C getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dimitris Kourmouzis hit a great ball. Momo Sampler might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Hedström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Momo Sampler ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Momo Sampler in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Hedström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Momo Sampler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When FUF F.C's Momo Sampler in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK S.C's goalie prevented a goal. He walked away shaking his head. If Momo Sampler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 87 in the game by Momo Sampler from a close distance when the talented Michael Hedström managed to make a qualified save. AEK S.C's players were relieved. AEK S.C's Michael Hedström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save AEK S.C from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind AEK S.C's goalkeeper Michael Hedström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FUF F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
