Mauro Kotlar hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A hard shot 21 in the game by Isaias Matas from a close distance when the talented Aldo Mannie managed to make a qualified save. Ripa FC's players were relieved. In the 27th minute, Isaias Matas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aldo Mannie. The goal made the score 1-0. Gu Chang Peng struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Michel Hendrickx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripa FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaias Matas was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gu Chang Peng in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Hendrickx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Olavarria FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Smith Wigglesworth was slow to take the kick. During this time Ripa FC's players had a chance to rest. Gu Chang Peng might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Hendrickx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gu Chang Peng ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute Gu Chang Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Matas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Azibar. Ripa FC's Placido Pero was substituted for Alvaro Jakes. 72 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ervigio Ojeda came free, but Aldo Mannie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olavarria FC's Ervigio Ojeda in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ripa FC's goalie prevented a goal. Olavarria FC's Michel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bochini in the 81st minute of play. Ricardo Bochini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Hendrickx having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olavarria FC's Mauro Kotlar got a free kick in the 88th minute. Aldo Mannie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Catalino Rivarola went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
