A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Börge Alkvist with Ian Andersson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 14 minutes Scarlet Speedster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albert Hufnagel who took care of the corner kick. After 16 minutes ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Krzynowek who took care of the corner kick. In the 20th minute, Fausto Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsando Fierro in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Willian Cuesta got control of the ball when Fausto Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Scarlet Speedster's Jens-Ove Eriksson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Börge Alkvist, made in the 29th minute of the game. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scarlet Speedster's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Albert Hufnagel was slow to take the kick. During this time ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's players had a chance to rest. Fausto Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Willian Cuesta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scarlet Speedster. Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Garci in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fausto Mendonça made the kick off in the second half. Naldo Proença made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Otsando Fierro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to ARES FC DeusDeFutbol getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ian Andersson hit a great ball. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Reinhard Apotheker was substituted for Roldan Pinto. In the 57th match minute, ARES FC DeusDeFutbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Andersson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 59 minutes, Otsando Fierro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otsando Fierro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Scarlet Speedster's Naldo Proença got control of the ball when Otsando Fierro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raigo Vananurm charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raigo Vananurm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Raigo Vananurm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Recai Nusrettin from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Naldo Proença's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Naldo Proença didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Muñoz went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 72 minutes Scarlet Speedster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albert Hufnagel who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Recai Nusrettin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Willian Cuesta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raigo Vananurm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Mendonça in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willian Cuesta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Mendonça scored 1-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Cuesta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Naldo Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Muñoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Muñoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Otsando Fierro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Naldo Proença, 1-4. The ARES FC DeusDeFutbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ARES FC DeusDeFutbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
