Köping's Jens Bohlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Köping from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Köping's Jens Bohlin got control of the ball when Mathias-Alexander Jamieson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th match minute, SK Gullegem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bram Jamieson to maneuver through the defense. Urmas Känsäkangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Beckeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson made a precise shot to the right of Jens Bohlin. Urmas Känsäkangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Beckeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Hannes Jamieson put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jens Bohlin. The crowd rose to their feet as SK Gullegem's Benedicto Atarratze slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens Bohlin. That made the score 4-0 after 36 minutes of play. Hannes Jamieson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jens Bohlin made a huge save. Jens Bohlin made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Bram Jamieson sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Bram Jamieson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Gullegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 46 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Atarratze. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henning Beckeman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Alex Lidström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köping's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Lidström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddie Viklund's late challenge caught a SK Gullegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddie Viklund helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Köping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Viklund to maneuver through the defense. Köping's Jens Bohlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Hannes Jamieson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens Bohlin was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, Bram Jamieson notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Köping's Jens Bohlin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Atarratze in the 74th minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Jens Bohlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Jamieson came free, but Jens Bohlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Köping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boye Brøning didn't get a good kick on the ball.
